BVG automated starch modification and cooking systems now allow large consumers of modified starches to purchase and use low cost native (unmodified) starches without loss of quality. This system had demonstrated very large cost savings in major mill applications around the world. Successful applications have replaced ethylated, oxidized, acid modified, AP, and other modified products of corn, potato, and tapioca.
The BVG "EEC" Starch System produces high quality modified starch with stable, controlled viscosity through the use of tightly controlled and fully automated enzyme conversion. These systems include automated control and monitoring systems that can be operated locally, as well as full remote or via Internet operating connections.
Native starch can be supplied from bulk silos, big bag unloading stations, or starch slurry systems.
The cost saving potential of this system is so substantial that many programs are available under which the capitol equipment is supplied at no up front cost to the user.
Under these programs, use of the system may be paid for by a portion of the savings.
