TAPPI BRIGHTNESS & COLOR
ADVANCED BRIGHTNESS & COLOR MEASUREMENT



Produced in cooperation with X-Rite Corp, the 938TB is an ideal brightness and color measurement system for the pulp and paper industry. This instrument measures brightness and color via Tappi standard 0o/45o geometry, with a variety of illuminants including Tappi illuminant C, and in several other internationally recognized color formats including LAB, Hunter LAB, CIE, XYZ, and others.

This instrument has benefited greatly from new methods of micro-miniaturization and fiber optic technology to present a greatly reduced physical size without loss of accuracy or reliability. With its standard internal memory the instrument can be used as a stand alone system or, through its RS-232 computer interface, as part of a data acquisition system.

The Huspec 938TB provides Tappi Brightness as well as complete color analysis through out the entire visible spectrum. With the addition of the QA Master 2000 software package the 938TB becomes a complete color management system including grade standards data base, color analysis, and graphic color representations to guide in matching and correction of colors and shades.

Also available is the model SP60 which provides ISO Standard Sphere Geometry for use in countries where ISO methods are desired.
